IS THAT TREE FRESH?

Hold on to the branch with your thumnb and index finger.
Then gently pull your fingers along the branch.
You should only see a few needles drop.
If the tree loses alot of needles it is NOT fresh.

Give the tree a gentle shake. Pound the trunk on the ground.
Again you are watching for falling needles.
Remember the basics: Look for a tree with good green color and a pleasing aroma.
Both of these are signs of a fresh tree.

KEEPING YOUR TREE FRESH IN YOUR HOME

When you get the tree home, cut 1/4 inch from the bottom of the trunk.
This will allow the tree to better drink it's water.
Place the tree in a sturdy stand with at least a half gallon of water.
Water the tree daily to avoid needles from drying up and falling off.
don't worry about special mixtures for the water, you do not need them.
Make sure you place the tree away from any heat sources.
Always turn off the lights before going to bed, or leaving your home.
